Suzanne Hartmans is a visual artist working from her studio in Beerta since 1994. She studied at Academie St. Joost Breda (1987 to 1991) and Academie Minerva Groningen (1991 to 1994).

Her work belongs to the geometric, concrete, minimalist art movement. The oeuvre consists of graphics, reliefs and objects. The work has been nominated for various awards such as The Dutch Graphic Art Prize, Gosman and Kraan Graphic Art Prize, BAS Graphic Art Prize and the 5th Internationalen André Evard Preis für konkret- konstruktive kunst and supported in its development by contributions from the Fonds BKVB in Amsterdam.

Work has been exhibited at various exhibitions and art fairs including: Grafiek NU, Symposion Gorinchem, Art Noord, Art Amsterdam, PAN Amsterdam and Art on Paper Amsterdam.

Her work is represented by Galerie de Roos van Tudor Leeuwarden, Art Gallery O’68 Velp and Nicholson Art Gallery Brussels.
