Beautiful portrait of his friend and fellow artist Wout Piersma.
Pieter ‘t Hart (1925-1987) lived and worked in Ijmuiden and Santpoort, and was in contact with the Haarlemse Kunstkring. He worked as an art teacher in different schools and held his own gallery: Galerie ‘t Hart.
‘t Hart’s style can best be described as ‘figurative with a dash of Flemish expressionism’.
